I couldn't find power specs on on a ttr230 so I used a wr250 15.2 peak hp and weighing 232lbs dry = 0.065 hp/lbs

didn't look up your zx but I imagine it's around 100hp and 400lbs dry =0.25 hp/lbs

0.25/0.065 = 3.8 your zx has far more power available.

just to kind of give you an idea of the power difference between sport bikes and dirt bikes. So if you have learned throttle control on the zx most any dirt bike will be fine for you power wise
