Here's the deal:
Grew up playin on the dirt, but life being what it is I've been away from it for quit a while. But now I'm getting back into a place where I can afford a few toys. Soo I gots questions about gear. I never used to give gear a first thought, till I got the fz ![]() Jackets, I'm thinking off road jackets generally are made to go over deflectors? And staying cool and protected whats out there Leg protection kinda wondering the same thing as ^ I am looking at out fitting 2 adults and 4 kids by next summer

If it were me I would wait till next years gear comes out and find deals on this years mx stuff. Most brands have several different levels of price so you can get some good gear without going broke. That goes for boots and helmets as well.
When you start talking enduro gear it is usually made with gortex or something similar and can get pretty expensive. |

Yea thats the way it gonna play out, barring a good sale I may run across here and there, maybe I'll find someplace that where I can pickup used/kids gear.

Ebay is a good place to look for close out gear and honestly I have never been to concerned about having the latest graphics so gear from last year or the year before suited me just fine

I just bought chest protectors, elbow and knee protectors for my adult size kids (when did they get so big?) paid about $75 for all gear per kid. A small investment since the kids think they are invincable.
I buy mine from KTM World in Cedertown GA, over the phone, or online. Prefered to get the armor new, and undamaged, cost was low. Don't like used gear or boots. Last year we bought the previous years pants and jerseys, pants were about $20 jerseys less, closeout on e-bay |
