Default speedometer way off on the F4i!!!!

Ok, I took the bike to work the other day just hit 3rd gear going nice and easy, because the cops are out big time and the speedometer says I'm doing 88mph. NO way in heck was I doing 88mph. So, I'm thinking something is wrong with it. We had to redo the battery, would that cause it to act up or is there a way for me to reset it?

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have a speedo healer? or something like it to correct for gearing changes? And of course you did make sure your speedo didn't get switched to khm right? lol

When you installed the battery, did the speedo convert over to Kilometers/hr instead of MPH?

yeah and the "f" in f off is a good clue too....

just kidding, I have to take a look at that a little closer... I didn't notice that when I was riding, cause one thing I learned is you don't take your eyes off the road when in a group ride...

Push the top button on the left side of the cluster and hold for 3-5 seconds, that should reset it to MPH. My assumption also would be that it switched to kph.
