Default New kitten creates 14 lbs of hate.
So, I ran across a new kitten I couldn't resist - male, hand-raised, half Bengal, half British Shorthair, black with copper eyes. Great disposition, etc.




Now, some of you remember my stupid fat calico cat:



I knew she's be thrilled with this little bundle of joy, and she is. Sunday she disappeared entirely. Yesterday she hid under the covers of the bed and hissed at any sound, movement, or vibration. Today she followed the kitten around all day, at a distance of five feet, continually voicing her displeasure. Here's a recording of her expressing her sentiments:

I give her till the end of the week before they're curled up together.

Oh, mandatory cute kitty pic at the bottom. I'll take more when his eyes finish turning.

That's just her normal look, believe it or not. Right now the kitten is locked in a bathroom two rooms away, she's sitting on her favorite perch being brushed, which she loves - and hissing like a python.
