If you like Schwarzbier, you need to try a Scotch Ale. Schwarzbier has smoked malt while scotch ale has malt roasted over smoldering peat moss traditionally.
It has an intensly earthy flavor with a slightly peaty and smokey taste, and it's usually quite high in ABV.
Try to find Orkney Skullsplitter, one of my favorites.
